The Boyd Circle

The Boyd Circle

Rachel Nolan and Patrick Kennedy are part of the Boyd Circle Founding Group Members.

The Boyd Circle is the group of Architects and Allies who financially, practically and intellectually support the Robin Boyd Foundation.

The Robin Boyd Foundation preserves and protects the Boyd House in Walsh Street but also researches, interprets, promotes and projects the architectural, written and intellectual output of Robin Boyd.

An important role of the Robin Boyd Foundation is using both the legacy and the spirit of Robin Boyd to interrogate contemporary issues in the areas of Boyd’s special interests – architecture, cities, Australian identity, environment and modernity.  Particular areas of intersection might be climate change, housing affordability, reconciliation and education.  The Boyd Circle provides guidance and advice on these issues.

"We are custodians of the legacy of Robin Boyd and the iconic Walsh Street house that he designed, built, and inhabited. Inspired by Boyd, our purpose is to provoke and lead fearless dialogue on Australian architecture and design."
