Marnie is a Senior Project Architect at Kennedy Nolan with over 15 years industry experience across the design, documentation and delivery phases of a variety of project types and scales. More recently she has specialized in high-end residential projects, and has been responsible for the delivery of a number of houses at Kennedy Nolan that feature a sympathetic and nuanced response to heritage fabric.
Prior to commencing with Kennedy Nolan, Marnie was responsible for the delivery of complex projects in the commercial, retail and educational sectors. A skilled documenter and project manager, Marnie is passionate about projects that are responsive to environment and context. She enjoys all aspects of architecture, from design and detailing to managing client and builder relationships and problem solving on site, and can run projects both entirely independently or as part of a team.
Marnie has contributed more broadly to the architectural profession as a design studio leader at the University of Melbourne and sessional tutor at Monash University, and as a freelance writer and photographer for various publications including Architecture Australia and Houses Magazine.
